UW Maker Space

January 13, 2016 Posted by Victoria Suen Community, Event, Initiatives

Workshop

UW Maker Space is a student run organization focused on the exploration of various processes of “making”, some examples of which include metal working, casting, wood working, and digital fabrication. The goal of this group is to push students past theory, and allow them to become more in tuned with their designs through interaction with the physical processes involved with making an object from scratch. In addition the club hopes to foster a community passionate about the traditions of craft and the sharing of information. For UWSA students who are interested in this group, please join our group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/811693132274764/
