In his thesis, Hyunjoon Yang studies the process of a synergistic dialogue between top-down and bottom-up processes of urban development. Keeping in mind key questions of the formation of the district, its historical and cultural characteristics, and its evolved modern face and functionality, Hyunjoon looks to enrich urban life in the district.
