The current 3A Design Studio course ARCH 392: Large Urban Building is hosting the Creative City Toronto: A Symposium Exploring Next-Generation City Making on Monday March 2nd at 10:00am. The event is open to to all students, faculty and the general public, free of charge.
Howard Won's 3A Studio project entitled Urban Mountain proposes the development of a mixed-use building located on the corner of Bathurst St and Fort York Blvd in downtown Toronto. The concept for the project revolves around an exterior public plaza and plateau in which the ground floor has been divided into four independent parcels introducing a diversity of buildings, alleyways and a public plaza.
Introducing second panel for the Re:POST Symposium which includes Matthew Kennedy and Mark Erickson of Studio North in Calgary and Elizabeth Paden of KPMB Architects in Toronto. Everyone is welcome to engage in the conversation on Tuesday March 17th beginning at 1PM.
