Studio Soundtrack 003

March 12, 2013 Posted by BRIDGE Articles, Resource

Studio Soundtrack features five songs selected by a student at the UWSA.

These tunes are great—sometimes white noise is even better.

With good headphones it can sound like you are in a giant vacuum, but hey! when everyone else is on some crazy 3 a.m. caffeine bender, that’s not necessarily a bad thing…

If white noise just isn’t for you, take a listen to this week’s song picks instead:

Darkstar – Dear Heartbeat

Beach House – Zebra

Bat for Lashes – Marilyn

Diana – Born Again

Erykah Badu – The Healer

Studio Soundtrack 024: Meditative Bluegrass

When (if) people think of bluegrass music, they usually picture rollicking banjos, twangy vocals, cheery tunes, and morbid lyrics. And, well, they're not wrong. But this week, Samuel Ganton tries to show that us there is bluegrass music to fit any mood. That's right: peaceful, moody, meditative bluegrass.
