Manufacturing Architecture – an Uncovered Lecture by Mark Cichy
Monday, March 25th @ 12:30pm in the Main Lecture Hall

Design It Mill Inc. (DIM) specializes in the execution of complex geometric architectural forms. The unique parametric modeling process empowers DIM to rationalize complex curvilinear geometries and generate the required connection details. DIM collaborates with the world’s leading architectural firms and general contractors to realize their projects in built form.

DIM is currently working on detailing, fabricating and employing an “Architectural Veil” on the Lansdowne Park North Stands Stadium retrofit in Ottawa, Canada. This lecture will utilize the Lansdowne Park project as an exposition to illustrate how parametric modeling and custom fabrication in architecture are stimulating new processes and innovation throughout the construction process.
