Each fall the 4A class departs for the highly anticipated Rome Term, four months spent immersed in the history of Rome studying the origins of the city. We followed in the footsteps of the years before us traveling to Paestum and Pompeii in the south, visiting Urbino, Vincenza and Venice to the north. Weeks were spent collaborating through workshops in Cagliari, Rome and Sabaudia. Countless hours were spent observing and sketching the city and the archeology’s complexity. And somewhere in there, we managed to complete a studio project addressing the developing industrial neighbourhood of Ostiense. Now it’s almost a year later and about time we shared some of that with everyone.
Come join the graduating class for an exhibition of the work and adventures of our time spent in Rome. It will be an evening of reminiscing and refreshments, not to be missed. Friends, family and public are welcome to come celebrate and take a glimpse at what happened while we were away in Rome.
We’ll be revisiting the old Grand House on Wednesday August 7th from 7-10pm.
