Re-visioning Toronto Island Airport at Urban Space Gallery – September 17th

All are welcome to attend the opening of the exhibit “Re-visioning Toronto Island Airport” at Urban Space Gallery 401 Richmond St. West Toronto on September 17 from 6 to 8pm. The projects were produced in the Architectural Instincts and Imagination 3B option studio between 2009 and 2012 and will run from September 17 to October 25. The exhibition coincides with the Toronto city council vote on whether or not to extend the Billy Bishop Airport runways.

This STUDENT WORK features a 3B System Stalker Lab 5.0 project by Alexandra Martin and Morgan Wright in which they documented and analyzed the movement of the Grand River. The data collected was refined to generate a system code which formalized real data into artificial wave forms.
