LECTURE: David Gerofsky with Jon van Nostrand and Leslie Woo

David Gerofsky of Great Gulf Group will be giving the last lecture of the season with Jon van Nostrand and Leslie Woo. The lecture is entitled “The Chicken and Egg Dilemma: Infrastructure or Development?” and will be given on Thursday, February 13 at 6:45pm in the main lecture theatre.

David Gerofsky began his career as a lawyer in a Toronto firm before taking senior executive positions with two large Canadian real estate companies. Gerofsky joined Great Gulf Group of Companies as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of First Gulf (the parent company’s office, retail and industrial real estate development division). 

Great Gulf is a builder and developer of both low-rise and high-rise condominiums in masterplanned communities across Toronto and the GTA. Projects include the 75-storey condominium tower One Bloor East at Yonge and Bloor with Hariri Pontarini Architects and Monde Condominiums (LEED Gold certified) at Toronto’s waterfront with Moshe Safdie. In 2007, Great Gulf Homes received two Toronto Urban Design Awards for their projects 18 Yorkville and The Villas at 18 Yorkville, collaborations with architectsAlliance and landscape architects Janet Rosenberg and Associates.
