Everyone is welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public.

Sean Lally is the founder of WEATHERS/Sean Lally LLC, an internationally recognized design office. His recent projects include proposals for the Gdansk Museum of WWII, an extension to the Stockholm City Library, and a proposal for the urban redevelopment of Reykjavik, Iceland. His work and writings have appeared in a wide range of journals and publications including 306090, Harvard Design Magazine, Landscape World, Azure, and Surface.  Lally was a co-editor and contributor to Softspace (Routledge, 2007) and guest-editor of Energies: New Material Boundaries (2009). He is the author of  The Air on Other Planets: A Brief History to Come. Lally is the recipient of the 2012 Prince Charitable Trusts Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome in Landscape Architecture and the winner of the 2012 Architectural League Prize for Young Architects and Designers Award. He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Architecture.
