Waterloo Architecture annually participates in Canstruction, a charity event in which teams build structures out of food cans. The event is a fundraiser for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and students compete to build large-scale structures made entirely of unopened cans of food.
