Further Reading features relevant articles, readings, and videos that some of us wished we had come across earlier to help us with school. We welcome submissions at bridge@waterlooarchitecture.com
Our third edition of Further Reading features our very own John Straube. This is not so much one reading or single piece of content as it is a resource. If you have been through 3A at Waterloo Architecture you may be familiar with the perfect wall (hopefully), as well as John’s enthusiasm for building science (unforgettable, really). Dr. John Straube, along with his colleagues, runs buildingscience.com. The website is an extension of his firm, serving as a resource for sharing information about building science.
He probably mentions this website at least once per class, and yet many of us seem to forget it exists. If you did, here’s your friendly reminder that it’s out there. If you can’t be faulted for forgetting because you are below 3A but are curious about best practices for building science, the website is packed with informative articles, papers and delicious knowledge.
Cladding. Control. Structure! It only took me 2 quizes to catch on.
Check it out!
