Call for Writing: spilled ink

Sep 30, 2014 | Posted by Mayuri Paranthahan | Articles, Opinion, spilled ink |

They say that writing is easy - all you have to do is open a vein, and bleed. It is hoped that with every word we spill, we are one step closer to the authentic self.

This is an open Call for Writing to welcome the craft of creative writing into the BRIDGE community. The pieces are encouraged to explore beyond the academic environment and to dig deeper into the art of writing itself. To reflect, ponder, and share – to tell stories. To serve as a platform for young writers. Submissions can include short stories, scripts, poetry, journal entries, etc. and are encouraged to be accompanied by an image (of drawings, sketches, photography, etc.). With these pieces, we hope to explore the art of writing collectively with BRIDGE and the Waterloo Architecture community.

Submission Requirements:

  • Text in Word Editor Format
  • Images, min. 900px wide

Submit all written pieces to:

[email protected]
