[SWAG] December Meeting Minutes

MEETING ADMIN
1 SWAG Leadership transition for the winter term-Kyle Brill will take on the president role, potentially finding a co-president

-Amanda Ghantous will continue as  treasurer

-Christina Chan will continue as GSA rep

-David McMurchy will take on the secretary role

-Currim expressed interest in helping out with event planning

-Still need a new Health and Safety Rep to replace Chanel

-constitution of the GSA is being re-written

5 Grad Directory Grid Update (is this still happening?)

6 unCOVERED Lecture Series and RePost Symposium-Repost is now fully funded-invitation e-mails will start to go out soon, they are still being formatted

-short presentations + keynotes, recent graduates will be respondents. There will also be workshops where students print out some of the their work and then discuss during the with the presenters

-scheduled for 17th of March

7 Event recap: Peer Review (paired discussion format)
-Seems like a good format to re-create next time
-Peer-Beer-Reviews could be revived next term also

8 Grad Christmas Soiree final updates and tasks
-Kuni will send out email to ask for help in setup for Wednesday Thursday.
-need a group of volunteers to help with salad, ornaments and set up.
-Volunteers will also be needed on the weekend to help with cleanup and taking down decorations

9 Mx Reviews
-Thursday December 18th at 1:30pm
-Open studio will take place that evening and is being organised by a team of M1’s and profs
-$50 SWAG contribution will go to help with open studio.

-about $500 dollars will be kept as float after the soiree is paid for.
-On Empathy still needs to collect their Student Initiative Funding
