Studio Soundtrack 012: Don’t Bother Me, I’m Working

February 8, 2015 Posted by Niki Farfel Articles, Resource

Studio Soundtrack features five songs selected by a student at Waterloo Architecture.

I’m Niki Farfel and music is my expression. So here is my soundtrack – don’t just hear it, feel it.

Peace and love.

You have a deadline. You’re stressed, you’re tired and you have nothing done – yet all you have is your headphones right in front of you. You unlock your phone and scroll down your playlist. Another frustration because you realize you’ve heard it all in the past 48 hours. So what now?

The clock is ticking and time is running out, so keep working and let me take care of this.

BOTHER – LES SINS

Les Sins is the electronic alter-ego of Chaz Bundic. “Bother” is the first single from his new album “Michael.”

CAN’T DO WITHOUT YOU – CARIBOU

Dan Snaith (a.k.a. Caribou) is a Canadian musical experimenter who shows us unique beats in a subtle way.

GOLDEN (KAYTRANADA’S LIFE LIVING EDITION) – JILL SCOTT

Louis Kevin Celestin (a.k.a. Kaytranada) is a Canadian electronic DJ who is talented at preserving the original essence of songs while modernizing them with some kick-ass beats.

ALL I DO – LOGIC

Sir Rober Bryson Hall II (a.k.a Logic) is an upcoming American rapper who produces most of his own beats, but occasionally collaborates with producer Black Diamonds.

ON & ON (KAYTRANADA REMIX) – SNAKEHIPS

Oliver Lee and James Carter (a.k.a Snakehips) produce the loveliest deep house – in slow motion.
