OAA Society Visit 2015 at BRIDGE Storefront

October 16, 2015 Posted by Sneha Sumanth Community, Event, Feature, Storefront

BRIDGE is pleased to announce the annual OAA Society Visit this October 20th 2015 at our Storefront, marking the celebration of Grand Valley Society of Architects’ own book launch entitled ‘Architects Talk: Interviews with Grand Valley Architects’.

We’ve all driven or walked by buildings and wondered about their stories. The voices of the architects that designed them become part of those buildings. architects talk is a compilation of excerpts taken from interviews with architects who have made their homes and shaped their practices in the Grand Valley to design and continue to make places for all of us.

A warm welcome is extended to all architecture enthusiasts to attend the event at 8pm in the BRIDGE Storefront (map) with OAA President Toon Dreessen, who will address local issues regarding architectural progress in the area and address any concerns from members and the community at large.

In commemoration of the event OAA Boards of Design Excellence Awards will be on display at the Storefront between Oct. 17th-Oct. 26th and will be on display at the City of Waterloo City Hall Atrium between Oct. 27th-Nov. 6th.
