EVENT / Paths to Passion: Interactive Workshops

February 16, 2021 Posted by Michael Salib Articles, Community, Event

Over the last few months, we have explored the out-of-school lives of several first-year students with our “Paths to Passion” article series. Michael Salib, Hanna Jaglarz, and Samya Jain have told us all about their calligraphy, printmaking, and dance talents.

Now, we are so excited to announce that all three artists will be holding an interactive workshop in March! These fun workshops will provide an opportunity for UWSA students to take a small break from school to learn about new artistic practices. All students and faculty are invited to attend!

On Saturday, March 13th at 2:00 pm, Samya will be hosting a Bollywood dance workshop.

On Monday, March 15th at 2:00 pm (one of the scheduled pause days), Hanna will be hosting a DIY printmaking workshop.

Finally, on Saturday, March 20th at 2:00 pm, Michael will be hosting a calligraphy workshop. As part of the calligraphy workshop, registrants will receive a free kit to aid them in the workshop and introduce them to the art of calligraphy.

Sign up below for one, two, or all of them. Links will be sent prior to the events. The last day to sign up for the calligraphy kits will be February 24th (before 11:59 pm). We hope to see you then!!
