galt. is an independent student publication from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture (UWSA). For its inaugural issue, galt. explores the process of alternating. On June 8th, galt. held a publication launch at Bridge Center for Architecture + Design. Contributors of the issue were invited to present their submissions followed by discussions on how the work echos the theme, in an event that celebrates the collective voice of the UWSA community. The Master Works Exhibition provides recent graduates of the UW Masters of Architecture program the opportunity to exhibit their work solo or in a group and takes their thesis beyond a book to explore it as a larger exhibition. The opening reception for the exhibition will be on Monday, Oct 3rd at 6:30pm at the Design at Riverside Gallery.
