Pecha Kucha | March 27th at 6pm

March 26, 2015 Posted by Kunaal Mohan Faculty Work

Come enjoy an evening of short presentations by our beloved professors today,Thursday March 26th, 6pm at Monigram Coffee Roasters! Pecha Kucha is a quick fire presentation, 20 slides, 20s per slide, for a total of 6m40s. PechaKucha is actually a registered tradename of Klein-Dytham Architecture (KDa), who devised the format back in 2003. Why this 20×20 format? Because architects talk too much! Give a microphone and some images to an architect (or most creative people for that matter) and they’ll go on forever! Pecha Kucha is a fun and informal exercise in getting to the point.

When I was in undergrad, it was a great way to get to know my professors, to see the work their are involved with and to hear about their interests. Anything goes really; it’s all about sharing. It’s a lot of fun, and one of a the few times that students and faculty get together and socialize! Some free appetizers will be provided. Dinner is available for purchase, and there will be a cash bar.

Tonight presentations will be given by Professors Don McKay, Marie-Paul Macdonald, Rick Haldenby, Terri Meyer Boake, Robert Jan Van Pelt, Adrian Blackwell, Val Rynnimeri and Adjunct Professor Jonathan Tyrrell.

Brought to you by SWAG.
