Call for Submissions: POSITION with GRFF

The Grand River Film Festival has partnered with student-run Bridge Centre for Architecture + Design to curate an exhibition of film related works. POSITION, an exploration of what it means to be an architect through various medias, will combine the components of film and design.

Work Media: Installation, film, sculpture, painting.

Must fit through a 36” x 84” door and be ready to hang or place in the space.Films should be on DVD or Bluray disks.

Requirements:

  1. Written description of the work.
  2. An image of the work, or link to film.
  3. Social media and/or website link (for promotional purposes).

Entry Deadline: Sept 2nd (extended from July 31st)

Exhibition Date: October 28 and 29

For those interested, we screened 9 excellent short films with GRFF back in April as a kickstart to POSITION. The films were selected by Poorna Patange from UWSA and Tamara Louks from GRFF. Here is the line-up…

It aims to showcase the wide range of student projects in water research, while introducing BRIDGE to a larger university community.
