Re:PoST Thesis to Practice

November 5, 2014 Posted by Sarah Gunawan Community, Event, Initiatives

Re:PoST (Regarding Exhibition Publication Opportunities) is an annual event at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture that explores opportunities for disseminating architecture design and research. Currently, we are developing the next symposium, which will take place in early 2015, focusing on the translation from thesis to practice. We are interested in the mediums and methods to mobilize a self-directed thesis into ongoing professional exploration. What happens post-thesis?

We are reaching out to the graduate student body for input. We welcome recommendations for presenters, ideas on alternative discussion structures and suggestions for additional workshops. What are your interests and questions regarding the translation of thesis to practice? Email us at RePost@waterlooarchitecture.com or talk with the team at the next Grad Student Tea Time on Thursday at 5pm in the Loft.

Take a look at last year’s Re:PoST symposium entitled Exhibiting Architecture: Opportunities for Invention.
