PROCESS: Thesis in the Making

September 4, 2015 Posted by Sneha Sumanth Community, Event, Graduate Work, Storefront

In lieu of the annual MasterWorks exhibition, BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design is curating PROCESS, a Masters’ Thesis exhibition that will showcase the individual journeys of current and past masters student at the University of Waterloo. Every student’s journey is unique and extensive, a test of their persistence and passion. What happens when a student decides to dedicate upwards of a year to a topic that motivates and excites them? The theses that are produced by the students at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture are spectacular for their depth and diversity. Examining the intensive research, critical thinking and design process required to produce the final thesis document exposes the exploration and learning which informs every thesis. PROCESS: Thesis in the Making exposes the unique  process undertaken through the development of a thesis and provides insight into the Masters of Architecture program.

PROCESS will open on Thursday September 10th, 2015 and run until closing night on Monday September 14th, 2015.

Thursday September 10th | 6pm-9pm

Friday September 11th | 2pm- Thesis Defence: Zak Fish | 6pm-11 30pm; Openning Reception

Saturday September 12th | 12pm-5pm

Sunday September 13th | 12pm-5pm

Monday September 14th | 6pm-9pm; Closing Night + Guest Talk

The exhibition is being organized by Paniz Moayeri, Sneha Sumanth, Tristan Van Leur,  and Zak Fish. The organizers would like to thank the University of Waterloo School of Architecture for supporting this event.
