On October 29th, several members of BRIDGE hosted an Art Battle at the storefront on 37 Main Street, opening it up to the community of Cambridge and the School of Architecture as an opportunity to showcase creative talent and to foster support and inspiration between local artists. The BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design was transformed into a space of creative and positive energy, a live studio and exhibition space for a multiplicity of artistic styles and ideas. The pinnacle of the night was the double-round art battle, where a total of sixteen Art Battlers put on a one-of-a-kind show of ingenuity and raw artistic skill for an audience that numbered roughly one hundred people.
The vibe was right, the music pleasingly chill, and everybody was able to feast their eyes on a gushing stream of colour and creativity. The BRIDGE Art Battle proved to be a fun event for all, and a new tradition for the community members of Cambridge to look forward to.
You can view the rest of the event photos on the BRIDGE Facebook! Special thank you to Jason Wu for being the event photographer for the night.
