MISSING PAGES is now live!

September 7, 2021 Posted by BRIDGE and Idea Exchange Articles, Community, Event

Visit Missing Pages on https://www.missingpages.space/!

Missing Pages is a community-centric online project that makes space for voices that are underrepresented in our knowledge institutions. Public catalogues of stories—whether an archive, a university, or a library—are intended to tell us who we are. However, they undoubtedly omit and exclude experiences and knowledge. This series of online artworks and public programs focuses on personal and collective narratives that shape our communities, both locally and internationally, that are missing from collected records.

Featuring works by Joni Cheung, Faye Harnest, Donna M. Paris and David Ofori Zapparoli, Alyssa Pisciotto, Grace Salez and Judith Price, and Amanda White

Unwind – Fiber Arts Club

Jan 28, 2016

The Unwind Fiber Arts Club, originally called the UWSA Knitting Club, was started in Fall 2014 by a group of graduate students who shared a passion for knitting and an interest in learning new textile crafts and techniques. Unwind is currently looking to expand its knowledge of textile crafts and would love to learn more about the fiber talent at UWSA so if you have a skill that you'd like to share such as leather working, bookbinding, embroidery, etc. then we will use all of our resources and experience to help make your workshop happen!
