On March 9th, a team of 1B students from the UWSA travelled to Conestoga Mall to participate in the annual CANstruction competition. This year, a total of fourteen teams from the Kitchener and Waterloo region participated in the event. Stantec is currently renovating the Cambridge Hospital, and is really interested in getting some students in on the design process. The schedule is currently under discussion, but the current plan is to have a presentation on the whole project from 11:00 to about noon, followed by an informal lunch and discussions, charrettes for 2 -3 hours, share results and then have a small reception.
