COMPETITION ENTRY: Tony Shi - Tokyo Replay Centre

Mar 5, 2013 | Posted by Marisa Musing | Undergraduate Work, Work |

Tony Shi (3A) received an honourable mention for his design of the Tokyo Replay Centre in a competition hosted by ArchMedium , an architectural competition site for students. The challenge was to design a recreational centre in the Akihabara, a central district of Tokyo. The center would need to encompass the lifestyle of Japanese society, while focusing on the theme of entertainment. The best technology would be used to include karaoke, anime, manga and video games within the complex. Tony collaborated with his co-op partner Zun heng Lai, a Harvard GSD graduate.
