nourish: Papou’s Place Subs

September 12, 2013 Posted by Petra Bogias Uncategorized

Let’s face it, those long, nutrient-draining studio hours require some heavy-duty replenishment, and your go-to five dollar foot-long just doesn’t seem to cut it.

It’s time we move on to greater sandwich-artistry depths—one fostered by over 15-years of family-owned experience, serving up bigger and better things—meatier things, that is.

Sub1DSC_0249Papou’s Place offers a wide selection of traditional submarine sandwiches, pitas, and wraps.

Choose from the classic assorted, to thick cut steak specially seasoned with in-house sautéed onions and spices, overstuffed grilled chicken pitas, or every veggie on the salad table. They offer choices for every taste, and most importantly, every ingredient is cut fresh daily (you won’t find pre-portioned wax-paper-separated ingredients here).

You can grab a deal with one of the daily specials: a monday rib, or even a thursday steak, and if you’re feeling italian, fridays have you covered.

You can also satisfy that sweet tooth, with good old-fashioned scooped ice cream and made-to-order milkshakes containing just two ingredients—as it should be—milk and your choice of ice cream.

If you’re tired of your regular main street eats, venture west, up the St. Andrews’ hill and cross left at the lights, you’ll be glad to add this gem to your dining repertoire this fall.
