POSITION: A film screening (April 15th 4:30pm-6:30pm)

April 13, 2016 Posted by Sneha Sumanth Community, Event, Feature, Storefront

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the Grand River Film Festival has partnered with BRIDGE for an exhibition of film related works. Position, an exploration of what it means to be an architect through various media will combine the components of film and design.

Friday April 15th

4:30pm-6:30pm

BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design

35-37 Main Street, Cambridge

We will be screening 9 short films from around the world that have been made by an array of architects, students and film makers. The event aims to present architecture through film, attempting to find the role of the architect.

The short film screening on Friday is a lead up to another event in October that will be featuring student and local work related to film and designing, further exploring the role of the architect today.

This is an open call for films related to architecture & design. If you would like to submit a film into this event, please email bridge.grff@gmail.com

We hope to see you all on Friday!
