The F_RMlab initiated project PLANETERRAEUM which was exhibited at Nuit Blanche 2014 is soon to be re-installed in the Ontario Science Centre! The team has also compiled a detailed book outlining the conception and process of the entire project.

Connor O’Grady will defend his thesis entitled “Liminal Matter: Diffuse, Adaptive Environments for a Future Dundas Square” on Friday January 16th, 2015 at BRIDGE Pop-Up located at 60 Main St. The design explores the capacity for an embedded, public, and adaptive architectural system to expose the liminal, “invisible” relations that affect the collective environment.

Jenny Sabin Workshop: Matrix Architecture

Jenny Sabin visited Waterloo Architecture last week to lead a workshop entitled Matrix Architecture: Modeling Biological Reciprocity – A Landscape Takes Shape. The workshop was conducted as a two-day seminar and hands-on lab which explored the potentials of integrating biological phenomena into architecture and design practices.
