There is an exhibition happening tomorrow in the BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design showcasing spatial constructions of 20th century abstract paintings along with selected drawings from the current first year design studio class. During You@Waterloo day we welcomed a group of unique and energetic designers into the Waterloo Architecture family. Now we would like to introduce the Class of 2020 to the BRIDGE Community. Look out for them this fall!
Hand-drafting isn’t just a lesson on how to hold a pencil – it crucifies us to the studio culture and leaves us with memories we would never make elsewhere.
STUDENT WORK features a daylit studio by Audrey Fischer that creates a relationship between an artist residence and the continuously changing environment.
“Face + Hand” is a mini photography project created by 1A student, ien, to capture the faces of UWSA students and their name in their own handwriting. The project underlines the fast-friendships built within the school community and extend beyond through co-op terms and alternating schedules.
It’s been a busy week at the BRIDGE Pop-Up Storefront. We put up BRIDGE vinyls to announce our presence on Main St. and we hosted an exhibition of 1A Spatial Construction models and 3B Nest Studio prototypes.
